Don't be a victim. Ever. Unfortunately, there may be a time when you need to 'speak the language of violence.'

Your life may depend on your preparation - these seminars will equip you in this preparation. It is fun, a great workout, but serious self defense training.

Each B.A.D. Women's seminar stands alone, but together build a great foundation. Each event will train and drill mindset, situational awareness, and effective striking – you WILL hit things!

However each training will ALSO  focus on a PARTICULAR common situation in attacks, such as being held on the ground or being grabbed from behind.  You CAN learn how NOT to be a victim!  You will have an opportunity (if you choose) to defend against a realistic 'attack' in the given  scenario in a controlled, safe, and encouraging environment with trained instructors to guide and walk you through.

Carolina Self Defense & Krav Maga is passionate about equipping you!

Wear comfortable workout clothes and bring a water container. Striking gloves may certainly be used, but are not required. Ages 13 and up.

We look forward to seeing you there!

I’ve never taken any type of self-defense class and came in very nervous and self-conscious. Instructors were great at making everyone feel at ease. I feel like I learned a lot. I’m a runner and often worry about my safety when I’m out running alone. I feel a lot better equipped to deal with potential threats now. Thanks so much for this class!!
Loved everything about this class. Instructors were very knowledgeable & incredibly helpful. I would recommend this class to anyone. These are vital skills, necessary, sadly, in this day and age. I felt very empowered when the class ended.
I attended the 3 hour women’s self-defense class, “Becoming a Dangerous Woman” on 06/17/17 and loved it! We had three instructors; Caity, Alex and Aaron. As we watched our female instructor, Caity (who was a shade over 5 feet tall and weighed a shade over 90 pounds) disabling and tossing 200 pound men like it took no effort at all, we were reassured that we could tackle this class! All three instructors were professional, well qualified, and attentive. By attentive, I mean all three were aware at all times of how we were all progressing, and who needed extra help. Although we were all taught as a group, not everyone learns and grasps concepts at the same time. It was great that one of them would see who needed one-on-one time, and then would step in and provide the personal attention without having to be asked. Before we left the studio, we all felt confident that we had real life self-defense skills that we could/would use if ever needed. I highly recommend this class to every female aged 13 and older!
A great intro. Informative. Gave me confidence that I could escape an attacker. Made me also want to take more classes so I can learn more skills and feel even more proficient. AND it was a great workout.
I went for the “Becoming a Dangerous Woman” workshop, which was an introduction into basic self defense techniques. I had a blast and also learned a lot of useful skills. I am excited to move forward and really begin my Krav Maga training from here! Highly recommend this studio to anyone, staff are friendly, patient and fun, and the skills are certainly worth having.
I attended the women’s self defense class with a friend. It was amazing! There were several instructors there to help. They were all engaged and their diverse personalities made it even better. They incorporated various ways to teach: video, demonstrations, and hands on. I also liked that if you were comfortable you could practice what you learned on the instructors. They have a lot of feedback and genuinely seem to care. I can’t wait to take another class with them. I would highly recommend this class! I loved how diverse the ages of the participants were as well, great to see some dads dropping of their daughters for this! The instructors went over realistic scenarios and answered any questions we all had. This is a great program.
I attended the Becoming a Dangerous Woman class today. I was looking for a way to take back control of my life and this class was AMAZING!!! Being overweight and out of shape I wasn’t sure if I could do this but I was so wrong. Every one worked at their own pace. The instructors were so helpful and encouraging. We rotated techniques moving from upper body to lower body. I know that I’m going to be sore tomorrow from this awesome workout and I love it.
I liked that it was a lot of hands-on practice. I think I would need to come more to make it feel more automatic and not freeze in a self defense situation, but this seminar gave me a lot of useful moves that I can work on. The staff made a very intimidating topic/situation much more comfortable as they were all very encouraging and all obviously like teaching this. I found this class to be empowering and exactly what I was hoping for.
Great introduction to self-defense. Loved the practice of turning the “on” switch to beast mode. Practicing aggressive sounds and expressions was very helpful. The hammer punches/kicks into the pads were great - I felt like it was an excellent basic move that we will take away. Also, I had my 13 year old daughter with me and I think this was an appropriate class for her.
I’ve never been in a fight or taken any self-defense courses, and this was absolutely amazing. The staff is wonderful and the curriculum is truly empowering. I’m so thankful that I chose to come to the “B.A.D. Woman” seminar and will definitely be back for Krav!
I attended the woman’s self defense seminar with friend and it was amazing! The staff was super engaging and helpful. I love that the seminar was very hands on. I will definitely go back and when my girls are old enough I will be taking them as well.
